Canton’s Village Theater To Exhibit "Loose Threads" featuring Leann Meixner, Joan Potter Thomas, & Jan Waller
The Village Theater at Cherry Hill is pleased to exhibit "Loose Threads," a combination of work showing the dynamics and processes of three fiber artists, now through April 30, 2017. A special artist’s reception and meet & greet will be held on Thursday, April 13 from 7-9 p.m. at The Village Theater that is free and open to the public.
Topics include friendship, womanhood, motherhood, relationships, siblings, travel, aging, the artist place in the world, belief/non-belief, the past, present and future (the Big Three), sisterhood, death and coffee.
Time is a running theme of the exhibit. It records the artists time spent together and apart. Of conversations and agonies. Collaboration and independence. Dilemmas and solutions.
The work includes, but is not exclusive to, quilting, felting, stitchery, printmaking and assemblage.
