Canton Clean-up is held at the GFL facility located at 39000 Van Born Road, Wayne MI 48184. Please note, GFL will no longer have Friday recycling dates.  All recycling can be brought to Cleanup Dates.  Dates are for reference only and subject to change. Please call GFL Environmental USA Inc. at 248/204-6757 for more information.

Canton Clean-up WILL accept the following materials :

  • Home electronics
  • Motor Oil (limited to five, 1 gallon containers)
  • Latex Paint (limited to five, 1 gallon containers - no limit on empty paint cans with  the lid removed and paint dried out, only accepted on clean-up days)
  • Clean Antifreeze (limited to five, 1 gallon containers)
  • Household and Car Batteries
  • Household Construction Debris
  • Household Trash
  • All Single Stream Recycling Materials (to obtain a list visit www.canton-mi.org)
  • Sod and Tree Branches
  • Metal
  • Aluminum
  • Copper
  • Dirt
  • Brick
  • Concrete
  • Yard Waste (April - December)

Canton Clean-up will NOT accept the following:

  • Commercial Vehicles of Any Kind
  • Dual Wheeled Vehicles
  • More than One Axle Trailers
  • Hazardous Waste
  • Oil Based Stain or Paint
  • More than three cubic yards of trash (equal to about one level 6ft pick-up truck bed)
