On Saturday, September 30, the Cherry Hill Village's ARToberfest will be held from 12-5 p.m., at both the Village Arts Factory (50755 Cherry Hill Road) and The Village Theater at Cherry Hill (50400 Cherry Hill Road) to celebrate the arts and bring together both well-known and up-and-coming artists of all ages.
This collaborative event between Canton’s Village Theater and the Village Arts Factory will showcase a Youth Art Fair at the Village Arts Factory, where student artists will be on-hand selling their original works or reproductions. Additional artisan vendors will also be onsite and featured Village Arts Factory tenants will be selling their works of art.
Additional activities include a Chalk Art Festival, near the Village Theater at Cherry Hill, which will connect the two facilities by inviting participants to purchase a bag of chalk and a designated sidewalk square for their art. Local chalk artists, Tim Cory and Nick Bair, will be showcasing their skills, as well. ARToberfest participants can also enjoy the Canton's 29th Annual Fine Arts Exhibition on display at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill, various fall activities, as well as donuts and cider.
Food trucks will also be near the Cherry Hill School, where additional fall activities will be available, including a photo booth station. Entry to ARToberfest is free. For more information, call 734/394-5300 ext.1305.
