Camp & Class RegistrationSaturday, March 7, 10:00 a.m. Camp Registration is around the corner! Canton Therapeutic Recreation staff are looking forward to sharing summer camp activities with you!
Leisure Club will be offering ½ day sessions this year. This is a great opportunity for those who love camp, but are unable to attend a full day. We have AM and PM options. The PM options offer swimming at the Summit on the Park, so don't forget your suits and towels!

Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes ExhibitSaturday, April 18, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Join us for a "super" afternoon at The Henry Ford. Participants will venture to the museum to view the Marvel Exhibit which hosts over 300 artifacts, including some of Marvel's most sought after pages, costumes and props. This event is perfect for the Super Hero in all of us! Cost includes all entry fees to exhibit and museum. Fee: $48
* If an aide will be attending the event with your participant, please make sure you register your aide as well. The fee helps Canton Leisure Services to cover any expenses incurred from the event (i.e. food, transportation, etc.)
Aide Fee: $18- this cost is for entry into the event

NEW to Leisure Club: Adventure WeekStarting this summer, Leisure Club will offer a new program called “Adventure Week”. These three days will be filled with excitement as participants visit Zhender’s Splash Village, Cedar Point Amusement Park, and a Detroit Tigers Game. Each day will have a maximum number of participants and staff ratio of 1:1. Campers will be selected by a random drawing. Feel free to place you name on one Adventure day or all three! Individuals whose names have been selected will be notified by May 1. Register here for the lottery starting Saturday, March 7.
NEW to Camp A.B.L.E.: School of RockThis summer, Camp A.B.L.E. participants will have an opportunity to attend the School of Rock located in Canton every Monday. School of Rock instructors will introduce musical instruments, rhythm, and more! Discover music's power as a mood booster and learn just how contagious music can be. Register here starting Saturday, March 7.

Sensory Sensitive Movies at the Village Theater Let's All Go to the Movies! During these Inclusive Sensory Sensitive Movie series showings, the sound system will be turned down and the house lights will be turned up. Only 200 of the 400 general admission seats in the theater will be available for sale to make sure participants have plenty of space to stretch out and make themselves comfortable.
Movie Titles Include:
- Sunday, March 15: Aladdin (Rated PG) 3 p.m.
- Saturday, April 4: Peter Rabbit (Rated PG) 10 a.m.
- Saturday, May 2: Mary Poppins Returns (Rated PG) 10 a.m.

All tickets $5 each. Please Note: This is not an event hosted by TR, so an adult or guardian must attend with participants. A limited number of KultureCity Sensory equipment bags are available to check out to use during your visit to the Village Theater.

Dexter-Ann Arbor: Run the RiverCanton Therapeutic Recreation has been selected as one of the Official Charity Partners for this year's run which is scheduled to take place on May 31, 2020.. If you love running or know someone who does, visit https://dxa2.com to register. Events include a Half Marathon, 10K, and a 5K run. Be sure to select Canton Therapeutic Recreation as your charity to support. All money raised will fund scholarships to help those in need attend camp as well as for staff to purchase necessary supplies for TR camps to operate.
