Dream Creatures: A Mixed Media Solo Exhibition

I am a self-taught artist working in mixed media. My collages, plaster cloth sculptures, and hand sewn items turn into dreamlike creatures based on the images I see that emerge from the layers of paper, paint, and cloth I use as I create.  I never know the final result before I begin.

My inspiration comes from many sources, but among my favorites are song lyrics, fairy tales, dreams, and misheard snippets of passing conversations.  These influences work their way into my art subconsciously and I’m always surprised by the result of just following my intuition.

Artist Reception:  Wednesday, December 2, 2015, 7-9 pm
Exhibition Dates:  December 2, 2015 – January 3, 2016

Thank You Ushers!

As 2015 comes to a close we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful ushers for making 2015 an incredible year! Supporting the arts is one of the most important things a person of any community can do and knowing we had the support of over 130 volunteers this year is the reason The Village Theater can provide such an amazing experience for our performers and patrons alike.
