Important Dates


All pools including the Water Slide, Lazy River and Leisure Pool will be used for open swim activities. Under certain circumstances (such as slow times or staff shortages) the aquatic staff will alternate opening the Slide and Lazy River.

Tuesdays: 6:00 -8:00 p.m.
Thursdays: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Fridays: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
: 1:30-5:30 p.m.
Sundays: 1:30-5:30 p.m.

Inspired by Kid President, Canton Leisure Services will be collecting new socks for youth, men, and women starting Oct. 1- 31.
Drop off socks in the lobby of the Summit on the Park. Socks will be distributed to local nonprofits in Wayne County area. 

Consumer Expo

The Canton Chamber of Commerce will host a Consumer Expo on Thursday, October 20, from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Summit on the Park. The expo features over 60 businesses, including 10 restaurants that display their items and services. The expo is free and open to the public. Summit Swim Lessons
Fall is a great time to enroll your little one in swim lessons at the Summit on the Park, which offers year-round lessons in our indoor Aquatic Center.  The next session for Parent Child and Preschool Swim Lessons will start the week of October 30.  Our aquatic programs are designed to teach basic water safety skills to children 6 months to 5 years of age.  Register today online or call 734/394-5460 to get started. 

Flu Shots 

Canton Leisure Services will be opening its Flu Shot Clinic to adults 18 years of age and older on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. The Clinic will be held from 9 a.m. – 12 .p.m., in the Chestnut Room at the Summit on the Park, located at 46000 Summit Parkway in Canton, MI. This is a single day event and appointments are required. Reservations are now being taken. Sign up today by calling 734/394-5485. 
This Flu Clinic will accept most forms of insurance and the flu shot will be offered at no direct cost. Please bring your Medicare and/or insurance cards with you to ensure that services are billed correctly to your provider. Patients may also pay independently.
Patients who do not have access to health insurance may receive the following services at the following cost: Pneumonia Shots - $95; Flu Shots - $33.This amount will be due prior to receiving the flu shot. Costs will be billed back to health coverage providers, including Medicare if applicable.

Halloween Trick or Treat Parade

Tickets are now available for purchase at the Summit for Canton Leisure Services' most popular sell out event - our Trick or Treat ParadeChildren ages 10 and under can show off their costumes while traveling along a not-so-scary path through the Summit collecting goodies and surprises! The parade ends at an optional scary haunted house that may be too intense for small children. Parents are responsible for
supervision of their children.

This event will take place on Friday, October 28 from 4-7 p.m. at the Summit on the Park located at 46000 Summit Parkway. Ticket are currently on sale for Canton residents. Non-residents may purchase tickets starting on Oct 15.  There is a 10 ticket maximum per purchase. All ticket sales end on October 27, at 10 pm. No tickets will be available at the door. Don’t hesitate, tickets are limited!  For more information about this annual fall event, call 734/394-5460.

Canton Club 55+ Halloween Party

Area seniors are invited to attend the Canton Club 55+ Halloween Parky on Friday, October 28 from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m., in the Summit's Parkview Room at the Summit on the Park.
Enjoy Halloween Bingo for $1 per card, starting at 10:30 a.m., and Halloween treat decorating at 11 a.m.  Tasty treats will also be provided, courtesy of Regency of Canton.

Seniors Safe, Sound and Secure Seminar

All Canton seniors are invited to learn more about personal safety on November 2 from 12-3 p.m. at the Summit on the Park.  Presented by Canton Public Safety, this free informative seminar will help you learn new techniques to keep you and your family safe.

This event is sponsored by Canton Public Safety and will also feature fire safety information.  Lunch will be provided by Katherine’s Catering at the Summit.  Registration is required to participate. For more information and to register, call Canton Club 55+ at 734/394-5485.  

Fall at the Canton Farmers Market

The Canton Farmers Market will end its 2016 season on Sunday, October 16, 2016, with a mini Harvest Celebration for the whole family from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Little market-goers can look forward to a special autumn-themed bounce house, face-painting, a skilled pumpkin carver demonstrating his talents on site, and a visit with some furry friends at our petting zoo. The first 50 kids who stop by the Market Kids Tent, which has been generously sponsored by All Saints Catholic School all season-long, will receive a free small pumpkin from Prochaska Farms. Pumpkin decorating will also be available as well at the Kids Tent.  Stop by the Market before the season ends. The Canton Farmers Market is held every Sunday from mid-May to Mid-October from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Canton Farmers Market is held every Sunday from mid-May to Mid-October from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Preservation Park, 500 N. Ridge Road.  Look for us in the Barn if it's a rainy day!

Expresso Bike Challenge

Join the October Expresso Challenge and compete for a chance to win a free family pass to the annual Township Tree Lighting Celebration!  The event will be held in the evening on December 7th.  Enjoy seasonal entertainment, crafts, activities, refreshments, and more!  Stop by the Fitness Center, and ride a lap on Apple Grinder Course on our Expresso Bikes to join the challenge. The rider with the fastest lap time at the end of October will be the winner, who will be announced no later than Nov. 11th. 

Bartlett's Kids Club

It's Autumn! Time for Pumpkin spice and everything nice. This month our Kids Club members are going on a pumpkin hunt. We are searching for the perfect "plumply pumpkin". The fun continues as we enjoy pumpkin-themed activities and a craft. Join us on October 15 from Noon-1:30 pm. 
Members can participate for Free!  
Resident fee is $3 and Non-Resident fee is $4.
