The Village Theater Proudly Presents:The Detroit Circus - December 31The Village Theater will host a special night full of acrobatics, fire, juggling and more. Back by popular demand, audience members will be amazed by high-flying aerial antics on fabric and trapeze, fire dancing, stilt walking, acrobatics, and more! These jaw-dropping performances are sure to thrill fans of all ages. Take part in a pre-show including a sparkling grape juice toast in the lobby with activities suitable for all ages from 6:00-6:40 p.m. The performance will begin at 7:00 p.m. Following the performance, you won't want to miss a "kid-friendly" countdown to 2019! Canton Celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr. - January 21, 2019Save the Date for the Commission for Culture, Arts, and Heritage’s annual event that celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This special event features a key note speaker, Martin A. Philbert, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Michigan. There will also be a performance by Dodson’s Elementary School choir. Tickets are only available at the door: $2/person or $5/family.
