Facility Advisory for Saturday, April 13:If you are planning to visit the Summit this Saturday, please be advised that the Summit’s West Parking Lot will be busier than usual, due to numerous events taking place on Saturday, April 13, 2019. Additional parking will be available in the Summit’s East parking lot near the Splash Playground. Please plan your arrival to the Summit accordingly and allow extra time.

In the Summit Spotlight!Summer Shape Up Membership Special Looking for a short-term fitness center membership to get in shape for the summer? Then be sure to take advantage of the Summit on the Park’s ‘Shape Up For Summer’ membership special and save! From April 1 – May 31, Canton residents can purchase a 3-month individual membership for just $107. The non-resident special rate is $137 for a 3-month individual membership. This offer is only available at the Summit front desk, sand cannot be combined with any others; nor is it valid on prior purchases. Every Kid Healthy Week April 22-April 26 The Summit on the Park is celebrating 'Every id Healthy Week' from April 22-26, 2019, with free kid and family-friendly activities all week-long! Activities include: Fencing on Monday at 6 p.m.; Terrific Tuesday Gym & Swim on Tuesday at 19 a.m./ Karate on Wednesday at 6 p.m./ Open Swim on Thursday at 6:30 p.m/ and Family Zumba on Friday at 7 p.m. Registration is required and space is limited! Summit Personal Care Pantry Now Available The Summit on the Park's Personal Care Pantry is now open to the public during regular business hours to assist community members who are struggling to meet some important basic needs. If you know someone or are experiencing a need, you can visit the pantry by asking the Summit member services staff at the front desk or make arrangements by emailing our members services staff at summitmemberservices@canton-mi.org. If you would like to help us keep our pantry stocked, donations are always welcome! A donation box is now located in the Summit Lobby, where personal care items are being collected, including: chapstick, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, soap, tissue, toilet paper. toothbrushes and more. Important Facility Information:Please note that our Family Locker Room now requires a proximity key fob for entry and access starting. This new key fob wristband can be checked out at the front desk each visit, in exchange for an ID. This change is being implemented to keep our Family Locker Room a designated space for use by a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult with accompanying children, or for individuals with special needs accompanied by a caregiver. Swim SchoolSpring Session Begins May 5The Summit on the Park aquatic staff strive to foster a lifelong love for swimming, health and wellness, and aquatic safety. All swim lessons are taught by highly trained swim instructors and supervised by award winning lifeguards. Classes are offered at many levels including; beginners, stroke refinement, competitive training, and conditioning. All aquatic classes take place at Summit on the Park indoor aquatic center.

April 13 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Heritage Park & Summit on the Park
Bring the kids out to Heritage Park to enjoy a variety of Easter and spring-themed activities! No pre-registration is necessary; however, there is a $4 fee per child for Canton residents and a $5 fee per child for non-residents that can be paid onsite. Continuous egg hunts will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in two age groups to help keep the 'hunting' fair for even our littlest participants. Please dress accordingly for early spring weather and possibly wet grounds.

Bartlett's Kids Club - Family Fun Activity Day April Activity Day - Explore Nature! April 20 12:00 pm-1:30 pm Spring has sprung and we are ready to head outside and explore nature. Bartlett's Kids Club is excited to invite the Howell Nature Center's Nature Bus to the Summit on the Park. Kids Club members will enjoy a live "Birds of Prey" show as well as tour the Nature Bus. This activity is funded by a scholarship offered by the Spirit of Alexandria Foundation, started in memory of Alexandria Bennett. The foundation's mission is Connecting Children to Nature. Area families are always invited to join us on the third Saturday of each month for “Family Fun Days” that focus on family time with fun and engaging activities. Cool down after the scheduled activity in our pool during open swim! (up to two adults admitted with each child)
